The HITECH ARN-32 is a compact automatic counterfeit currency detector for cash counters, exchange desks, petrol stations and shops. Feed in a note and it gives a result in under half a second.
Each note is checked with ultraviolet (UV), magnetic (MG) and infrared (IR) detection together with image, paper quality, size and thickness checks. It supports AED, USD, EUR, GBP, CNY and CHF, shows the number of notes and the total value for each currency, and its software can be updated through the USB port. It runs on mains power or 12V DC.
